Ms. Janice was born in a small town in the Kootenays. Growing up, she listened to music as often as she could, and had many musical influences. She loved the music of the Supremes, CCR, Janis Joplin and The Beatles, to name but a few. After school, Janice would rush home, put on a record, and start singing along with the artist; she found solace in singing, and was able to express herself through music. One day she heard Patsy Cline’s beautiful voice on TV, and stopped everything she was doing, to listen to Patsy; she loved the incredible rich tone, and soulfulness of Patsy’s voice. Ms. Janice was so in awe of Pasty’s voice, that she started singing Patsy Cline songs. Janice is one of the top Patsy Cline tribute artists in North America, and is honored for the opportunity to keep Patsy’s memory alive with her tribute show “A Closer Walk with Thee”.
